Hosts England faced a big blow in the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2019 after losing to Australia on Tuesday by 64 runs. The English team is facing trolling from cricket fans on the Internet as they are losing their 'red-hot favourites' tag in the World Cup tournament due to three losses in seven matches. After the English side miserably failed to chase the 286-run target set by Australia, Queensland Police‏ trolled the hosts saying that the roads of Queensland's capital Brisbane have been affected by tears of England players, so drivers need to take care. "The tears of English cricket fans have made driving conditions tricky this morning. Drive safe Brisbane  #ENGvAUS," they tweeted. Have a look at the tweet below.

Great sense of humour!

The Australian cricket fans reacted to the tweet with some comical replies. Have a look at some of the humorous replies of Australian cricket fans.

The trolling of the English team was not only limited to Queensland Police.  Twitter users also made funny memes on England after their loss to the yellow team, who made their way to the semi-finals after the victory. Have a look at some such tweets below.

Poor English fans!

Too funny!

The Aussies clinched a comfortable victory against England after crushing their top order as the latter started chasing the 286-run target. Australia put up 285-7 with spectacular knocks by openers Aaron Finch (100) and David Warner (53). In response, the English side lost quick wickets at the start, eventually losing the match by 64 runs. England could only score 221 runs in 44.4 overs after losing all of their wickets. Jason Behrendorff and Mitchell Starc shined with their stunning performance by grabbing five and four wickets respectively.
