Bangladesh Cricket Team has announced the squad for upcoming U-19 CWC 2020. Akbar Ali will be leading Bangladesh’s 15-member squad in an under-19 cricket tournament, set to take place in South Africa. Left-arm seamer Shoriful Islam and batsman Tawhid Hridoy have also been inducted in the team. ICC Under 19 World Cup 2020 will start on January 17, 2020 with the first game of South Africa U19 vs Afghanistan U-19. Tanzid Hasan, Parvez Hossain Emon, Prantik Nawrose Nabil, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Shahadat Hossain, Shamim Hossain, Mohammad Mirttunjoy Chowdhury Nipun, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Avishek Das, Mohammad Shahin Alom, Rakibul Hasan, Hasan Morad are the other players part of Bangladesh team for Under-19 World Cup 2019. Bangladesh U19 team will play their first match against Zimbabwe U19 at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom on January 18. ICC U-19 World Cup 2020: Priyam Garg-Led Team India Undergoing Boot Camp at Nagarhole National Park to Prepare for the Tournament. 

U19 CWC 2020 will consist of 48 matches in which a total of 12 teams are taking part. All the teams are divided into 4 groups A, B, C and D. Other than Pakistan, India, West Indies, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, Japan, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Scotland, the United Arab Emirates and Bangladesh. India U-19 squad will be led by Priyam Garg. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Varma, Divyansh Sexena and Atharva Ankolekar are some key players in the Indian squad.
