Absolutely forgettable day for Bangladesh out on the field. They were 48/8 at one stage in the first innings and escaped anyhow to get a comparatively respectable score but following on, they crumbled once again and got bowled out for only 143. Kagiso Rabada took fifer in the first innings while the feat was achieved by Keshav Maharaj in the second. Senuran Muthusamy also scalped four wickets in the second innings. South Africa will be now really hopeful for World Test Championship final spot.

Bangladesh are a few steps away from a gutting loss and  Mahidul Islam Ankon along with Taijul Islam tries to delay the inevitable as long as possible. South Africa have been entirely dominant through the match with the bat and ball and they will look to end proceedings on Day three taking back a mammoth victory.

After a huge lead in the first inning, Proteas asked the hosts to bat again. The Bangladesh side lost the first wicket in the second inning. Shadaman Islam Round the wicket angle on a good length, and the ball straightens off the deck. A perfect delivery by the pacer and the outside edge has been taken by the keeper. A wicket for Paterson on his first ball of this innings.
