Despite India losing to England by 1-2, Virat Kohli has something to cheer for. The Indian captain stays strong on the ICC ODI Rankings charts and has achieved a career-high with 911 points in his kitty. Whereas spinner Kuldeep Yadav is now spotting on number six in the list of top 10 bowlers. Kohli ended the series with the Royal London Series with an amazing score of 75, 45 and 71 and earned a couple of points and thus strengthened his position at the number 1 spot.

England’s Joe Root who made back-to-back centuries sealed the number two spot in the list with 818 points. Pakistan’s Babar Azam is on number three with 808 points whereas India’s Rohit Sharma features on number 4. The right-hander has 806 points. David Warner, who has been out of action since March 2018, is placed at number 5 with 203. India’s star opener Shikhar Dhawan is on the number 10 of the lost with 770 points.

Dean Jones was the one to get 918 points at the ICC ODI Rankings way back in 1991. Kuldeep Yadav who has claimed nine wickets in the ODI series which resulted in the jump of eight places and thus was featured on number 6 with 684 points.  Jasprit Bumrah leads the ICC ODI Rankings with 775 points. India’s Yuzvendra Chahal is on number 10 with 666 points. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is on number 2 with 763 points, followed by Pakistan’s Hasan Ali.  When it comes to the team rankings, after a defeat yesterday, India is now on number 2 and England leads the table with 6470 points.
