India face West Indies in a must-win game for the latter in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Virat Kohli’s men – the only team unbeaten in the tournament – will want to extend their four-match winning streak even as the West Indies fight for survival. A victory at Old Trafford will India closer to the semi-final berth. The Caribbean boys, on the other, have to win all of their remaining three matches, including this game against India, to keep alive their bleak chances of reaching the last four. The match is about to get underway. But for now Indian skipper Virat Kohli has won the toss and elected to bat first. West Indies vs India Cricket Score 34th ODI Match.

Team India made no changes to their playing XI from the 11-run victory over Afghanistan. Mohammed Shami, who was widely speculated to make way for Bhuvneshwar Kumar, kept his place in the team after taking a hat-trick in the previous game. West Indies though were forced to make two changes with Sunil Ambris and Fabian Allen replacing the injured Evin Lewis and Ashley Nurse. India vs West Indies Live Cricket Score of ICC World Cup 2019 Match.

West Indies began their CCWC 2019 campaign with a thrashing victory over Pakistan but unfortunately, that has remained their only win so far in the tournament. They have lost against Australia, England and Bangladesh in their next four matches. Sandwiched between those losses was also a washed-out game against South Africa. Carlos Brathwaite then took on his hands to bring some daylight in the despaired Caribbean hearts with a near match-winning century against New Zealand but Trent Boult took a spectacular catch to pull West Indies down to their fourth successive defeats. India vs West Indies CWC 2019 Match Weather Updates.

The Jason Holder side has three points from six games and even three victories from their next three games won’t guarantee them a semi-final berth. They will have to depend on favours from other teams to make a surprise entry in the last four stages.

Meanwhile, New Zealand’s defeat to Pakistan last night means India remains the only unbeaten team in the 2019 Cricket World Cup. They have beaten South Africa, Australia, Pakistan and Afghanistan in four of their five matches, while another game against New Zealand was abandoned due to rain. Placed third in the team standings – before their match against West Indies – India has nine points from five games. Two more victories from their next four games will confirm their semi-final appearance.
