Indian team is set to play their first-ever day-night Test match against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. India vs Bangladesh, 2nd Test 2019 starts on November 22. A lot of preparations are already underway in the city of Kolkata to make this historic cricket event memorable. Although Team India is much stronger than their Asian rival Bangladesh in Test, Virat Kohli and boys are leaving no gaps to excel with the pink ball as well. Ahead of India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test 2019, Indian players were seen practicing in the nets. BCCI shared the video of Indian players' net sessions on Twitter. In the video, cricketers like Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Rishabh Pant, Mayank Agarwal among others were seen batting in the nets. Newly elected BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has made a lot of efforts for making India’s first day-night Test possible. India is the only major Test-playing nation that has not played a day-night Test yet. Cricket Association of Bengal and BCCI are taking great efforts to make India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test an entertaining and exciting event. Two official mascots- Pinku and Tinku- are also going to entertain the crowd at Eden Gardens during the match. Indian paratroopers will also land in a helicopter during the Day 1 of the Test and give two pink bowls to Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah. Many places in Kolkata have been lit up in pink lights ahead of the IND vs BAN Test.
India lead the two-match Test series against Bangladesh 1-0. India won the first Test by an innings and 130 runs as Bangladesh completely failed against the Indian attack. India had earlier won the T20I series 2-1.
