After the team’s appeal, the batsman was given not out. However, Rohit still asked for the review after Dhoni insisted to do so. The ball showed to be hitting the top of middle and leg and it was yet another great "Dhoni" review.

Shikhar Dhawan bagged the man of the man trophy for his blistering knock of 114 runs off 100 balls. His innings came from 16 fours and a couple of sixes. Rohit Sharma lauded the performance of the Indian team and said that the boys showed great character. “We spoke about leaving our past performances in the past and doing the job again today and they did it.
