India have tightened their grip in the third Test against South Africa and are looking all set to bag a 3-0 series victory. After losing the first two matches, the visitors again put up a below-par performance and almost out of the competition. At Tea, the Proteas side were struggling at 22/4 and their defeat seems round the corner. After lunch, Proteas came to bat at 129/6 in their second innings and were quickly bundled out for 162. India decided to enforce a follow-on and the Faf du Plessis led side were asked to bat again. India Vs South Africa, Live Cricket Score 3rd Test Match.

The visitors again got a miserable start as Quinton de Kock and Zubayr Hamza were dismissed early. At present, Henrich Klaasen and Dean Elgar are on the crease batting at 0 and 16 respectively. The duo will aim to put on some fight and make a comeback. However, the Indian bowlers are at their prime and tackling them will certainly not be easy for the Proteas. Both spinners and pacers chipped in with wickets and never let the opposition to settle down. The pitch has also started to favour the bowlers and at the pace, the match is going on, the result could come in the third session only.

Talking about India’s first innings, Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane plundered centuries and powered India to 497 in the first innings. In reply, the visitors never looked in the completion and lost wickets at regular intervals. At present, India’s victory just seems a matter of time and it could well come in the third session only.
