The Indian team is currently gearing up for the five-match ODI series against West Indies after beating the visitors 2-0 in the Test series. The first match will begin from October 21, 2018, at the Barsapara Stadium, Guwahati. Now, Ravindra Jadeja who has made a comeback in the ODI series against West Indies, could break former Indian captain Kapil Dev’s record. Ravindra Jadeja is just 15 wickets away from being India’s highest wicket-taker against West Indies in the fifty over format.

Kapil Dev has 43 wickets in 42 matches with an economy of 3.62. He also has a four-wicket haul under his belt. Anil Kumble is the next in line with 41 wickets whereas Harbhajan Singh has 33 wickets. As of now Ravindra Jadeja has 29 wickets from 19 matches.
