The woman was later identified as Druanna Butler and is speculated to be cricketer’s girlfriend. The couple were taking part in the festival and were covered in paint. Archer was also spotted wearing England cricket team’s shorts.

Archer received his maiden Test call-up for England when he was included in the 15-member squad for the one Test against Ireland. He is also expected to receive a call-up for The Ashes series against Australia starting August 1.

He was instrumental in England’s World Cup 2019 triumph and finished the tournament as England’s highest wicket-taker in CWC 2019. With 20 wickets, he also beat Ian Botham to become England’s highest wicket-taker in a single edition of the World Cup.

Archer was born in Bridgetown to an English father and a Bajan mother but grew up in the Caribbean. He also represented West Indies in the U-19 World Cup but left for England after being overlooked for the 2015 cricket World Cup. In March, Archer became eligible to represent England in international cricket.
