Rahul, 27, reached the milestone with a double off Soumya Sarkar in the fifth delivery of 12th over. He nudged the ball towards deep backward point to complete his maiden fifty against Bangladesh. He started cautiously following the departure of Rohit -- who was cleaned by Shafiul Islam in only the second over -- and only got off the mark in the fourth delivery that he faced before speeding up the run-rate. He has now scored 974 runs from 31 T20I matches, overtaking Gambhir's tally of 932 runs from 37 games. Rahul also joined Yuvraj Singh on fouth in the list for most fifty-plus scores for Indian batsmen. Rahul, who has hit six half-centuries and two hundred, has eight fifty-plus scores the same as Yuvraj, who hit eight fifties.
