India would be happy with how things have gone in the third session. Both Ajinkya Rahane and Rishabh Pant are nearing centuries. India is only trailing by 3 runs at the moment and with 6 wickets in hand, India would be aiming for a big first-innings lead.As for Windies, the team looked quite confident in the first hour of the second innings. Wickets of Prithvi Shaw, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Virat Kohli in the second session did a world of good for them. However, Rahane and Pant pulled the game back in India's favour. Here, we end our live coverage for Day 2. Join us tomorrow for the 3rd day tomorrow.

13 Oct, 16:53 (IST)

The way Rishabh Pant is playing at the moment it seems likely that he will be scoring a Century today only, perhaps, only if he survives. Ajinkya Rahane has held up one end beautifully and things seem to be fine currently for India. The duo has ensured that India has crossed the 300-run mark easily. The lead is below 25 now, and the advantage is with India.

13 Oct, 16:19 (IST)

Both Ajinkya Rahane and Rishabh Pant have completed their HALF-CENTURIES! and are looking to go for big scores. Windies look in trouble as both the batsmen have set their foot in the middle. The deficit has come down below 50 runs currently.

13 Oct, 15:24 (IST)

Rishabh Pant and Ajinkya Rahane are slowly building a good partnership between them. The duo has crossed 50-run mark at the moment. India is scoring at the run rate of 4, post the tea-break. Anyone's game from here on!

13 Oct, 14:34 (IST)

West Indies would be happy to have snapped three of India's most dangerous batsmen. With Prithvi Shaw, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Virat Kohli's wickets in a session, the Windies side would be elated. The run rate is under control and the Indian team hasn't been offered loads of freebies. It will be an exciting 3rd session after TEA Break. Will Windies make further inroads in the match, or will India pull control back into the match? Stay tuned for the last session of Day 2 live action.

Indian captain Virat Kohli is dismissed by West Indies skipper Jason Holder. Kohli is struck on the pads and it looks PLUMB! and the Umpire gives his LBW OUT! However, he calls for a REVIEW! The Third Umpire stays with the on-field Umpire's decision and the Indian captain will have to return. Rishabh Pant is the new man in.

13 Oct, 13:51 (IST)

West Indies' bowlers have bowled stupendously well. The Indian duo of Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane have built a strong partnership in the middle. No wickets in the last hour for India. Bishoo and Warrican have bowled with discipline in the last hour.

13 Oct, 13:14 (IST)

Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane have consolidated India's innings after a couple of wickets, i.e. Prithvi Shaw and Cheteshwar Pujara. For the West Indies, a little more discipline in bowling and fielding will do them wonders. Currently, the partnership is brewing at a healthy run-rate of 3.

13 Oct, 12:41 (IST)

India has lost two quick wickets in two overs. Prithvi Shaw is CAUGHT OUT! to an audacious drive at the extra-cover position. Puajara is CAUGHT OUT! to wicket-keeper as he mistimed the ball. West Indies are right back into the game with a couple of wickets in two consecutive overs. Ajinkya Rahane and Virat Kohli would need to stem the flow of wickets here.

13 Oct, 12:00 (IST)

Riding high on Prithvi Shaw's HALF-CENTURY! the Indian team put on 80 runs for the loss of one wicket in 16 overs, at LUNCH! break. The youngster is certainly not playing in a manner in which a two-Test old player plays. KL Rahul was seen struggling again in the series, and his brief stay was ended by Windies' captain Jason Holder. Some sloppy fielding and careless bowling has helped India's cause too.India will be looking forward to gaining control in the match.
