Kings XI Punjab knew they did not have enough runs on the board when they reached 174/6 in twenty overs with the lower batsman hitting a few low scores. Chris Gayle’s 50 was the standout performance of the first innings. Mumbai reached their set target without breaking much sweat as Krunal Pandya and Rohit Sharma remained not out on 31 and 24 respectively.
