At a tender age of 17, Shaw burst into the scenes by piling huge runs in the domestic circuit. He, in fact, is the only batsman to hit a century in debut match of Ranji Trophy, Deodhar Trophy, and Test cricket. The right-handed batsman also led India to the title in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2018. In the same year, he made his Test debut and announced his arrival by smashing a terrific century on debut.
However, Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal plundered a mountain of runs in the recently concluded India vs South Africa Test series. So, the Mumbai batsman certainly needs to put up some extra-ordinary performances in the domestic circuit in order to don the national jersey again.
