Karachi Kings batsman Colin Ingram was hit on a head by a bouncer from Wahab Riaz at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium during the Pakistan Super League 2019 (PSL 2019) match against Peshawar Zalmi. The left-handed batsman was hit on the helmet near the badge area and the ball went towards backward square leg. The incident took place during the fourth over. The South African batsman continued his innings and was eventually dismissed on an individual score of 21 runs off 14 balls. He was run-out after a direct hit at the non-striker’s end by Imam-ul-Haq from mid-on.

Ingram at that stage was looking solid and had already smashed four boundaries. The left-hander was the fourth wicket to fell for Karachi Kings, who were chasing 154. Karachi Kings eventually were restricted to 109 for nine in their allotted 20 overs and thus Peshawar Zalmi won the match by 44 runs. As per some reports, Ingram was taken for a scan on his head and fortunately, everything was fine. Meanwhile, Kings suffered their second consecutive loss in the PSL 2019 and now have just one win in their kitty so far from three matches.
