Batting at number four, Dravid compiled a quickfire 32 runs off 23 deliveries. His innings provided vital momentum to the Bengaluru Blasters' setup, featuring six boundaries. Rather than relying solely on conventional drives, the youngster showcased a modern approach by manipulating fields and using the crease effectively to access all areas of the ground.
Dravid's stay at the crease was cut short following a sharp piece of fielding by the Hubli Tigers, resulting in a run-out executed by S. Rakshith and L.R. Kumar. Despite missing out on a half-century, his brisk strike rate of 139.13 underlined his evolving adaptation to the shortest format of the game.
Performance in Maharaja Trophy
Dravid's performance marks a continuous period of growth in senior franchise cricket. After featuring for the title-winning Mysuru Warriors in the 2024 edition of the tournament, where he displayed glimpses of power-hitting, the young cricketer has looked to establish greater consistency in the middle order for the Bengaluru Blasters during the 2026 campaign.
Alongside his batting, Dravid has also been utilised as a bowling option by the Blasters management. In the same fixture against the Hubli Tigers, he delivered a full four-over spell of his medium-fast bowling, conceding 40 runs without taking a wicket.
