Shikhar Dhawan is having a great time after recovering from his thumb injury. The Indian opener took to horse riding to enjoy his time. Horse riding is a tough physical activity and since Dhawan has taken up the same, it looks like the 30-year-old cricketer has totally recovered from his injury. Dhawan is always active on social media and he shared the video of his horse-riding moments with his fans. He shared video on his Instagram account. “Riding through the winds”, Dhawan wrote along with the video. It looks like Dhawan is enjoying his off-field time to the fullest. Earlier, the Indian opener had shared a video in which he took the bottle cap challenge. In the video, the left-handed batsman played a shot to remove a bottle cap. He was challenged by Yuvraj Singh to perform the #bottlecapchallenge. Dhawan also mentioned with his bottle cap challenge video that he picked up a bat for the first time after his injury. Dhawan had suffered a thumb injury during ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 match against Australia. The injury forced the Indian opener to leave the tournament midway. Rishabh Pant was invited in the team as Dhawan’s replacement and KL Rahul was promoted as an opener during World Cup 2019.

Meanwhile, the Indian squad for upcoming West Indies’ tour is going to be announced today. India’s tour of West Indies will start on August 3. Team India will play three T20s, three ODIs and two Tests against the Caribbean side. MS Dhoni has already announced himself as unavailable for the tour. With World T20 2020 in focus, Indian cricket fans are eager to know which players will get a call up for India vs West Indies 2019 series.
