Sarfraz Ahmed has been in hot waters ever since his racist remarks hurled at South Africa’s Andile Phehlukwayo were caught in the stump mic. The Pakistani captain apologised for the same in the media and even said sorry to Andile on a one on one basis. The Pakistan Cricket Board also issued a statement condemning the act. But the damage was done, the furore was created. The International Cricket Council slapped him with a four-match ban and was called back from the tour of South Africa. Sarfraz would be eligible to play the final T20 game against South Africa but since the PCB has called him back, he might not feature in the series.
