Bangladesh cricket team's talisman and world's no 1 all rounder Shakib Al Hasan hit a hundred in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 being held in England and Wales. Shakib Al Hasan brought up the eighth hundred of his career during the Bangladesh vs England match in ICC CWC 2019 match at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff. With this century, Shakib has now become only the second Bangladesh cricketer to have a century against his name in ICC Cricket World Cup. Shakib took 95 balls to complete his hundred. He got to the three figure mark with the help of 9 fours and one six. This is Shakib's first hundred in the World Cups. The 32-year-old stellar all rounder did not have a great day with the ball. But he definitely put a masterclass with his batting. England was put to bat first and posted a massive total of 386 on the board, thanks to a century by Jason Roy, who played a knock of 153 runs. Bangladesh are chasing 387 to win the match.

Shakib Al Hasan has nearly 6,000 runs in ODIs and more than 250 wickets in the limited overs cricket. Recently, he joined the likes of Sanath Jayasuriya, Jacques Kallis, Shahid Afridi and Abdul Razzak to become the fifth player with more than 5,000 runs and 250 wickets in ODIs.
