Speaking of the ongoing encounter, West Indies are looking all set to chase the total at the MA Chidambaram Stadium and take a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. The onus will be on the likes of Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Shami in order to run-through the Caribbean middle-order and bring their side again in the match. However, the duo of Hope and Hetmyer are playing responsibly and are eyeing to guide their team over the line.

Earlier in the match, Kieron Pollard won the toss and invited the host team to bat first. Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer slammed half-centuries and guided their team to a competitive total. However, the target doesn’t seem to haunt the visiting side currently as their victory looks inevitable.
