Shoaib Malik registered a brilliant half-century during the first T20I between Pakistan Bangladesh at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, guiding his side to a five-wicket triumph and a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. While greeting the media in the post-match conference, the all-rounder was asked an uncanny question and Malik replied in an utmost graceful manner. Referring to Malik’s statement of grooming youngsters, a journalist asked whether the 37-year old will groom Pakistani head coach Misbah-ul-Haq as Malik is even more senior than the latter in international cricket. Malik, who made his debut way back in 1999 is still going after two decades in international cricket. While Misbah-ul-Haq made his first international appearance in 2001 and bid adieu to the game in 2017. So, the question of the journalist made some sense. However, the veteran tacked it brilliantly.
