When you travel abroad extensively, away from home, the people around become your family. They are a part of your daily routine. It’s not different for out cricketers, who are currently touring England. Team India’s bus driver Jeff Goodwin has some interesting insights about the players like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina and a few others.

Nicknamed by Australian player and coach Darren Lehmann as Popeye, Jeff reveals that Sachin Tendulkar always made it a point to sit next to him at the front. The seat is now occupied by the Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli. The Indian captain is quite notorious and pulls his leg often. He also goes on to say that Yuzvendra Chahal addresses him as an ‘old man’. Jeff also thinks that MS Dhoni is a fantastic wicket-keeper.  He has been assigned the job of the bus driving since 1999. He also goes on to say how Suresh Raina auctioned Sachin Tendulkar’s jersey to gather money for his ailing wife.

The official page of the BCCI shared the vide with the caption, “Say 👋 to Mr. Jeff Goodwin.#TeamIndia's bus driver gives interesting insights about various cricket teams who have been his passengers all these years. P.S Jeff loves this Indian Cricket team. Find out why...”

He ends the video by saying how much he likes the Indian players. "I've noticed how the game has changed since my time. Earlier, the Australian team, for instance, would sit in their changing room after the game till 2 am, but now not as much. And this Indian team, I've never know a cricket team as professional who come out of the stadium immediately. That is really professional," he says.
