Ronaldo, who has enjoyed huge success against the La Liga club, is expected to once again to spearhead the Juventus’ attack-line against his old-foe. Ronaldo, who joined Juventus from Real Madrid in an Italian record deal in 2018, has always enjoyed playing against Atletico Madrid, a club he often faced in the Madrid derby during his nine-year spell at the Spanish capital. Domingo em família ❤️

Juventus, who were trailing 0-2 ahead of the second-leg, were almost written off by most but Ronaldo smashed the books with a superb hat-trick to lead his side to victory. But despite his heroics, Juventus were knocked out of Europe in the next round after losing to Ajax.

Ronaldo captioned the picture “Domingo em família (Sunday with family)” in which he can be seen spending some quality family time with his girlfriend and three children. Georgina Rodriguez, Ronaldo’s girlfriend even commented in the lovely pictures.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo, who recently lifted the Euro Cup and Nations League Trophy with Portugal, has a below-par start to the 2019/20 Serie A. He scored once in the 3-2 win over Napoli but has failed to score in the games preceding and following it. But the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is a different beast in Europe where he leads the all-time scoring charts.
