Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba indicated his desire to leave the English club for different pastures after saying that “this could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else”. Pogba, one of United’s academy graduate, was re-signed from Juventus in 2016 for a world record £89 million fees for a midfielder and is contracted to Man United until July 2021. “There is a lot of thinking [going on],” Pogba told reporters in Tokyo. “I have been three years in Manchester and have been doing great – some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody, like everywhere else. The 26-year-old has so far made 89 league appearances for Man United and has scored 24 goals. He won the EFL Cup and the Europa League title with the Manchester club. United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær is believed to be confident of keeping Pogba at Old Trafford comes next season. But with the player already speaking of his interest to leave the club, it might be difficult for the United hierarchy to keep him.
