Last night, team Rajasthan Royals were defeated by Kolkata Knight Riders by 25 runs. This not only disappointed captain Ajinkya Rahane but also their mentor Shane Warne. From the tweets, it was evident that he was keeping the tab of the match. The legendary spinner took to Twitter to express their displeasure about their loss at Eden Gardens.

Warne slammed the batsmen and wrote that they wasted too many balls. Shane Warne’s post read, “What a disappointing end this is, wasted to many balls & didn’t take the game on in the middle. That game was there to win & the boys should have got over the line ! Very proud of the entire squad though as they tried their best ! Just hurts as that’s a game we should have won !”

After KKR posted a total of 169 runs, Ajinkya Rahane scored 46 runs off 41 balls, Sanju Samson made 50 from 38 balls. With this, the team is now knocked out of the IPL 2018 tournament. After winning the match, KKR skipper Dinesh Karthik said, “We were initially under the pump, so good on us to come back," he says. "Credit to Shubman Gill to absorb the pressure. He played some lovely shots. That eased the pressure off me, and then Andre was just special. In these kind of games the score doesn't matter, it's about believing. The par scores don't matter, but just how much you believe. The bowlers have picked their game and have bowled some good balls. Royals do spring a surprise, so you need to hold your nerve and execute your plans. Every game is important this stage. Next game, two good teams competing."
