After Manu Bhaker and Heena Sindhu clinching a gold and silver respectively for India at the Commonwealth Games 2018, here’s another good news for the country. Ravi Kumar clinched a bronze medal in Men’s 10m Air Rifle Event at the Gold Coast. He finished third with 224.1 points at the Gold Coast.

Dane Sampson from Australia won the gold with 245 points which Abdullah Hel Baki won a silver with 244.7 points. With Ravi clinching the bronze medal, India now has 10 medals (6 Gold, 2 Silver, 2 Bronze).

A while ago, Punam Yadav clinched a Gold medal for India in Women's 69kg weightlifting event, shooters Manu Bhaker added another Gold medal and Heena Sidhu bagged a Silver medal in Women's 10m Air Pistol Event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games (CWG).

The Indian shooters aced other competitors in the 10m Pistol Event. Manu finished with a score of 240.9, while Heena scored 234.0 to settle for  Silver. Australia's Elena Galiabovitch occupied the third spot as she won the Bronze medal with a score of 214.9 points.

Talking about Punam Yadav, she lifted a combined total of 222kg - 100kg snatch and 122kg clean and jerk. This is Punam Yadav's second medal in Commonwealth Games as she also won a Bronze at the 2014 Glasgow Games in the 63kg category. With more games scheduled for the day and star Indian athletes in the fray, India can expect few more golden moments!
