The pair of Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary have won the gold medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team Event at the ISSF World Cup, Munich. This is second gold medal for India, after Anjum Moudgil and Divyansh Panwar won gold medal in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team Event at ISSF World Cup in Munich, Germany. Apurvi Chandela and Deepak Kumar had also bagged silver medal in the same event on the final day of the air shooting event. Anjum Moudgil-Divyansh Panwar Win Gold Medal at ISSF World Cup 2019; Apurvi Chandela-Deepak Kumar Settle For Silver in 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team Event.

Earlier, Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary reached the knockout stage (Top 8) of 10m Air Pistol Mixed team event. The Indian duo finished on top in Qualification scoring 586 pts. The duo then scored 591 points in 2nd qualification stage and qualified for the finals.

Saurabh Chaudhary is one of India's brightest medal hopes for Olympics 2020 and has been making India proud at various shooting events. The Uttar Pradesh lad won the Gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games in 10 m Air Pistol. He became the youngest Indian gold medalist at the Asian Games. Chaudhary has the distinction of being the only Indian shooter to win gold medal in ISSF World Championship, ISSF World Cup, Youth Olympic Games,Asian Games and Asian Air Gun Championship.

Whereas Manu Bhaker represented India at the 2018 ISSF World Cup and claimed two gold medals. She is the youngest Indian to win a gold medal at the ISSF World Cup. Bhaker won the gold medal in women's 10 m air pistol event at 2018 Commonwealth Games just at the age of 16 in her debut at the Commonwealth Games.
