Earlier on this past Friday, Simone Biles before doing double-double dismount, also became the first woman to attempt a triple-double, however, she failed in the landing part. Later on, after a few hours, she successfully completed the double-twisting. Biles is currently in the first place, just two points ahead of the second-place contender in 2019 US Gymnastics Championship. The tournament will continue on Sunday (Aug 11, 2019) and if Biles went on to win her sixth US title, she will be the second woman to do so after Clara Schroth Lomady.
