After winning a couple of Grand Slams last year, Naomi Osaka went on to become the number player on the WTA Rankings. Naomi Osaka had won the Australia Open 2018 and US Open 2018, but post this she admitted that the last few months had been the worst of her life. Naomi also went on to say that she hasn’t had fun since winning the Australian Open in January.  On Thursday, she took to Twitter and shared her struggle ahead of Rogers Cup 2019. Naomi Osaka Knocked Out of Wimbledon 2019 by Yulia Putintseva, World No 2 Makes Shocking First Round Exit. 

Since her win, Osaka had lost in the first round of the Wimbledon 2019 after he was defeated by Yulia Putintseva. The 21-year-old also lost in the first round of the French Open 2019 after she was defeated by Ashleigh Barty. Ahead of her return to competitive tennis, she took to social media to pour her heart about the struggles she has had of late. The Japanese player wrote on Twitter: "The last few months for me have been really rough tennis wise, but thankfully I'm surrounded by people I love and who love me back (hopefully hahaha).

In her post, she also mentioned that she has weighed on her results and did not focus on the normal routine. Osaka lost her number one ranking in June 2019 and now aims to defend her title in the US Open. The Rogers Cup 2019 will begin next month in Toronto.
