Rafael Nadal and Xisca Perello Wedding: Roger Federer to Miss Spanish Tennis Player's Marriage Ceremony As He Prepares for Swiss Indoors in Basel

Roger Federer will not be able to attend Rafael Nadal’s marriage. Nadal, the Spanish tennis star, is going to marry his long-time girlfriend Xisca Perello on Saturday. The wedding will take place at La Fortaleza, however, Swiss tennis ace Federer will miss the event as he prepares for the Swiss Indoors in Basel. The report is also confirmed through Federer’s official practice schedule for the day. Federer’s wife Mirka Federer will also not attend the ceremony. Nadal and Perello have been in a relationship for 14 years and are set to take their bond to the next level with their wedding. Roger Federer Confirms Participation in French Open 2020. 

The 19-time grand slam champion Nadal will marry his childhood sweetheart Maria Francisca Perello in front of about 350 guests. Juan Carlos I, the former King of Spain, is expected to be a special guest at the event. Signer Enrique Iglesias, NBA star Pau Gasol and footballer Iker Casillas are also going to be present at the event. Michelin-starred Majorcan chef Macarena de Castro will be managing the menu of the wedding ceremony. Nadal's family will be present on the occasion. His Parents, father Sebastian and mother Ana Maria, his sister Maribel will also be there to grace the occasion. She is Perello's childhood friend. Nadal's uncles Miguel Angel and Toni will also be there at the event.

Nadal and Federer are known to be best friends off the field. The on-the-field competitors are among the most grand slam winners in men’s singles tennis. Federer has 20 grand slam titles to his name while Nadal has won 19 grand slam titles in his career. Both played the Laver Cup 2019 together for Team Europe, clinching the trophy in the end.
