The US Open 2018 Women’s final has already created quite a controversy with Serena Williams accusing the chair umpire Carlos Ramos of sexism and even went on to call her a thief. She was handed a series of penalties for getting coached during the game from her box, smashing the racquet. Eventually, Williams was given a full game penalty. Andy Roddick has come into her support and in a series of tweets he went on to say that this has by far been the worst umpiring he came across. He even went on to say that it would be sexist if Serena gets penalized for the actions as many players in the past have gotten through this. “Worst refereeing I’ve ever seen ......   the worst !!!,” read his first tweet.

Talking about Naomi Osaka, she went on to become the first Japanese player to have won the Grand Slam. Osaka said that she did not want to end it this way and she is happy to have played against her idol.
