Meanwhile, Fedal were also seen partnering to give Europe teammate Fabio Fognini some coaching advice during his singles match against Team World’s Jack Sock. But their advice proved little help as Fogini lost 1/6, 6/7 (3-7) in straight sets to Jock to help Team World level the scores. But Federer later partnered with Stefanos Tsitsipas to regain the lead and make it 2-1 to Team Europe at the end of the opening day of Laver Cup 2019.
