Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings to scientists and the nation on National Space Day, praising India's expanding presence in the global space order and highlighting the crucial role played by Gen Z engineers and private sector innovators in driving futuristic technologies.

In a video message shared on X, the Prime Minister emphasized that India's rapid strides in space exploration are integral to achieving the goal of Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047. He noted that the country's youth are actively developing breakthrough solutions-spanning advanced propulsion systems, composite materials, rocket stages, and specialized satellite platforms. According to PM Modi, the opening of the space sector to private enterprise has transformed India into a global hub for investment and technological talent. The statement follows PM Modi’s recent interaction with founders and CEOs of 20 leading Indian space startups.
