With franchise-based professional sports growing in India, the promoters are banking on celebrities to promote various leagues. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is associated with Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) and has been promoting the league since its inaugural season in 2017. The UTT is now into its third season and Aamir Khan is back again with the promotional video. In the newly launched UTT 2019 promotional campaign, titled ‘Raftaar ke Avtaar’ Aamir Khan is seen praising the speed of professional table tennis players. In the promotional video, Aamir Khan is shown challenging a professional table tennis player and eventually losses out to him. Aamir Khan’s association with sports is not new and he has been seen cheering for the Indian cricket team in the past.

Meanwhile, the third season of UTT begins from July 25 and will end with final at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex in New Delhi on August 11, 2019. A total of six teams, Dabang Delhi T.T.C, Puneri Paltan, Chennai Lions, U Mumba, RP-SG Mavericks Kolkata, and Goa Challengers will take part in the UTT Season three.
Dabang Delhi won the second edition of the Ultimate Table Tennis and now apparently start the new season as defending champions. U Mumba, Puneri Paltan and Chennai Lions teams will be making UTT debut. These three teams replace Falcons TTC, Maharastra United and Warriors T.T.C.
