Mumbai, February 20: Amazfit has officially launched its latest flagship rugged smartwatch, the T-Rex Ultra 2, aimed at outdoor adventurers and endurance athletes. The new wearable features significant hardware upgrades, including a Grade 5 titanium construction and a high-brightness display designed for visibility in extreme outdoor conditions.

The launch follows the recent release of the Active Max smartwatch and represents Amazfit's most premium offering in the rugged category for 2026. The integration of a built-in speaker and microphone also enables Bluetooth calling directly from the wrist.

Safety features have been prioritised with the inclusion of a dual-mode LED flashlight that features an adjustable output and a dedicated SOS signal mode. Additionally, the watch includes a low-interference green light mode designed for compatibility with night-vision goggles, alongside a checkpoint system to help hikers mark water sources or milestones.
