Seattle, September 10: Amazon's audiobook services, Audible, announced that it would recruit the voice actors to generate new recordings. Audible is one of the popular services of the e-commerce giant which offers access to the wide range of audiobooks to its users and subscribers. To enhance the services, Audible will make use of AI and professional narrators for the platform.

TechCrunch reported that Amazon's Audible said it would hire a select narrators who would help in training artificial intelligence on their devices starting this week. Once trained, the AI would generate the recordings for the audiobooks. Audible reportedly said that the narrators or voice actors who participated in the audio recording program would be compensated for any audiobook generated using their AI voices. This program would allow them to get benefit on royalty-basis and title-by-title.

The artificial intelligence, since its introduced has been transformed by the developers into becoming more natural towards the humans. Recently, OpenAI launched ChatGPT Voice Mode offering the users to listen to the text, generated using their prompts.
