Amdocs employs roughly 29,000 people worldwide, with approximately 4,000 based in Israel. Context of Ongoing Workforce Reductions

This latest round of downsizing follows several consecutive years of structural adjustments at the company:

• 2023: Amdocs eliminated approximately 2,700 positions globally across two waves, which included about 300 employees in Israel.

• 2024: The company cut more than 1,500 roles worldwide.

• 2025: Several hundred additional layoffs were executed globally.

The current transition represents the first major leadership test for Shimie Hortig, who assumed the CEO role at the end of March following the retirement of longtime chief executive Shuky Sheffer.
