With the increasing demand for gaming phones, the manufacturers are making their best attempts to rule the space. Xiaomi is one such smartphone maker that is also making efforts in the gaming smartphone space with Black Shark devices. The Xiaomi-backed phone maker launched Black Shark 2 Pro in the Chinese market. Launched at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs 30,000), the gaming product comes powered by a Snapdragon 855+ chipset. The gaming smartphone is offered in two versions for the China market. The base version comes with 12GB of RAM + 128GB storage whereas the second model gets 12GB of RAM + 256GB storage. The base variant is priced at Rs CNY 2,999 (around Rs 30,000) whereas the second version costs CNY 3,499 (around Rs 35,000). To be available starting from August 2, the handset comes in two avatars - Electric Black and Ice Ash.
On the specification front, the smartphone gets a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ panel featuring resolution of 2340X1080 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core chipset from Qualcomm - Snapdragon 855 Plus, which comes paired with Adreno 640 GPU. Featuring liquid cooling 3.0, the smartphone also gets an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Moreover, the smartphone comes in two storage variants only - 128GB & 256GB.
As far as the optics are concerned, the handset gets dual camera module at the back. It comprises of a 48MP primary sensor along with a 12MP secondary sensor. The smartphone also gets 20MP snapper for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is backed by a 4000 mAh battery along with 27W fast charging support. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C port.
