The AI Chatbot is widely available to a large audience that uses it for multiple purposes, such as drafting letters, emails, articles, solving queries, and doing much more. Recently, a bride and groom reportedly used OpenAI's ChatGPT to plan their wedding, saving thousands of dollars. The wedding of Maria Cortese and her fiance Ryan is scheduled to take place in New York in coming months.

Maria Cortese and Ryan feared that their wedding could blow the $34,000 budget, according to a report by the New York Post. The report mentioned that their wedding had been set to take place in Poughkeepsie, a town in New York, on August 2024. Ahead of the wedding, Maria Cortese received a $5,000 rate from a wedding planner in New York. Maria Cortese, 32, made a unique choice for her wedding planning, opting to use ChatGPT for 'literally'  everything. This was her first experience with artificial intelligence, which she engaged with after her September engagement. The report noted her satisfaction with the AI's performance, as it handled tasks like making big-day arrangements, typically performed by a wedding planner. Using OpenAI's ChatGPT helped the bride and groom save between from $5,000 to $10,000, as per the report by People.com

The New York Post reported that a 2024 survey done via Zola Fashion determined that 52% of engaged couples were adopting and trusting automation for their public functions. According to the report, Zola, an online wedding registry, wedding planner, and retailer company, introduced 'Split the Decisions, a custom GPT tool for "soon-to-weds." OpenAI's ChatGPT helped many other people who were planning to get married save costs, plan their events better, and make their arrangements "magical."
