San Francisco, August 10: OpenAI rolled out a new capability to ChatGPT free users that allows them to create AI images daily. Using this new capability, the users can generate up to two images per day with the help of the OpenAI's DALL-E text-to-AI image model. The users must type any prompts in the OpenAI ChatGPT's typing box, and the model will generate AI images in reply.

To generate the image on the ChatGPT, the users need not require any paid plan subscription. They can simply ask the AI chatbot to generate the images by providing relevant prompts. Once the free users end the credit of generating two images per day, the ChatGPT will not allow them to generate more images. ChatGPT Premium Plus plan costs USD 20 in the United States and allows users to generate up to 50 images per day. Currently, the ChatGPT free users can use the text-to-image model DALL-E 3 to generate images. The DALL-E 3 has been significantly upgraded and exclusively made available to the ChatGPT Plus users.

DALL-E 3 can generate high-quality images with photorealistic details and accurate text. The reports said that OpenAI offered a two-image limit to ChatGPT free users to encourage them to sign up for the Plus subscription. However, the users can still use the DALL-E 3 in the Microsoft image generator, which offers 15 images per day for free. However, ChatGPT allows users to generate high-quality photorealistic images using the AI model within the chat window.
