Website-building platform Elementor has announced a significant organisational restructuring, which will involve the layoff of approximately 100 employees, representing roughly 30% of its global workforce. The majority of these redundancies will affect staff based in Israel as the company attempts to pivot its business model to better align with the rapid emergence of artificial intelligence.

The firm, which powers over 25 million websites, described the move as an essential "reset" to prepare for an era where AI agents increasingly participate in website creation and navigation.
