Google, a leading tech giant, is gearing up for the launch of next-generation Pixel smartphones, expected to be launched later this year. Going by the market rumours, it is speculated that Google might announce Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL globally on 4th October. Ahead of its official launch, a hands-on video of the Google Pixel 3XL production model has emerged online. Going by the video, the production version of the Google Pixel 3XL seems to be ready for the launch. The video also reveals Pixel Buds styled wired headphones included in the retail box. It seems that Google might be proffering headphones with Pixel 3XL this time around. However, Pixel 2XL did not come with headphones within the box. Other accessories in the box include USB Type-C to 3.5mm headphone dongle, a USB Type-C to USB Type-C charging cable, a USB Type-C to USB Type-A adapter, and power brick with QuickCharge support.
With no action around the device, the photos confirm that the Pixel 3XL will carry a notched display which will be bigger than the predecessor. Moreover, the notch on display also seems to be bigger and broader than previously foreseen.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the tech giant is making its own hardware for the next generation of Pixel devices. It is believed that the Pixel 3XL will feature a 1440p+ display. Under the hood, it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC mated with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone will run Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. Both the devices are expected to feature all-glass body with a glossy finish at the top and matte finish on the lower half. It is also rumoured that the smartphones will support wireless charging and Google will reportedly launch a wireless charging dock which will be called as Pixel Stand.
