Mijia Ecosystem and Large Appliance Strategy
The brand rollout will commence with a new line of advanced air purifiers later this quarter, followed by a phased introduction of large home appliances and other connected lifestyle devices between late 2026 and 2027. Globally, the Mijia portfolio spans more than 200 product categories, encompassing smart kitchen utilities, robot vacuum cleaners, and automated home gadgets.
As per a report by Moneycontrol, Xiaomi India Chief Operating Officer Sudhin Mathur noted that the home segment represents the next major battlefield for the company. By entering the large appliance market, Xiaomi aims to challenge established industry leaders such as Samsung, LG, and Haier by leveraging competitive pricing and expanding its local manufacturing discussions with electronic manufacturing services partners.
Omnichannel Retail and Future Growth Outlook
To support this large-scale hardware expansion, Xiaomi plans to deploy an omnichannel retail approach. Products under the Mijia by Xiaomi banner will be available through the official website, exclusive Mi Home stores, major retail chains like Croma, Reliance, and Vijay Sales, as well as selected e-commerce partners. Google Maps Ask Maps Expands to 150 Markets With Food Ordering and Personal AI Features.
