Chinese robotics startup ROBOT ERA has revealed its latest creation, STAR1, which is now reportedly called the fastest humanoid robot in the world. In a video released by the company, two STAR1 robots are seen racing through the terrain of the Gobi Desert in China. One of the robots even wore a pair of sneakers to test its speed. STAR1 showed its capabilities by running over different surfaces, such as roads, sand, and grass. According to a report of FirstPost, STAR1 has surpassed Tesla’s Optimus and Boston Dynamics’ Atlas to claim the title of the fastest humanoid robot. Multiple reports also indicate that the STAR1 robot has achieved a top speed of 8 mph to set a new record.
