Ahead of the much-anticipated August 9 #UNPACKED launch, Samsung announced two new smart tablets globally -- Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5. Starting from the top-spec model, Samsung Tab S4 sports a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display with resolutions of 2560 X 1600 at 256 PPI. The toned down model, Samsung Tab A comes with a 10.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels at an aspect ratio of 16:9. Starting with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, the device is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8998 octa-core processor clocked at 2.35 GHz + 1.9 GHz paired with 4 GB RAM. The device comes in two storage options of 64 GB and 256 GB and is expandable up to 400 GB via microSD card. Further, running the tablet is the latest Android Oreo OS. Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz is with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB inbuilt storage expandable up to 400 GB. Android Oreo 8.1 is the OS that runs the device. The tablet also shares the same battery capacity as the top variant. Making the device standout is the quad-speaker setup enhanced with AKG and Dolby Atmos technology that equip the device with a 3D surround and crystal clear sound. The tablet also features its own AI assistant Bixby to take care of the user’s needs through voice commands. The devices come with an iris scanner in addition to the face recognition for security purposes. As for accessories, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 comes with a new upgraded S pen, attachable keyboard, Charging Dock POGO and Galaxy Tab S4 Book Cover made of fabric-like materials.

Until now, the official price has not been revealed or hinted at. But it is expected that the top variant could be around USD 750 (Approx. Rs 50,000) since its old model (Samsung Galaxy Tab S3) is priced at USD 499 (Approx. Rs 34,000).
