At this two day event, the company is expected to exhibit its forthcoming operating system along with some hardware advancements to the third-party developers, so that they have sufficient time to tweak their products accordingly. The company will be also be broadcasting the annual conference live from Moscone West Convention Centre, in San Francisco that is slated to commence from 6pm GMT (11.30 PM IST). It is also rumoured that Samsung might reveal more details regarding Galaxy Home AI powered smart speaker at the annual conference alongside Galaxy X folding device.
Pitted against Apple HomePod, the new Galaxy Home AI smart speakers previously revealed at the launch event of Galaxy Note 9 in August. However, the company has remained silent about the device since then. Going by several market reports, it is believed that Samsung might announce a release date for the Home smart speaker prior Christmas.
Samsung might also showcase some new features of Bixby AI assistant along with Tizen smartwatch OS. As a reminder, Tizen OS powers Samsung's Galaxy Watch, which was also revealed at Galaxy Note 9 launch event in August.
