Talking about the device, the smartphone is expected to share its hardware with Mi 6X and will run on stock android just like its predecessor. In terms of specifications, the Mi A2 handset is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC with an octa-core SoC that could be clubbed with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. For photography, the smartphone will be fitted with dual camera module which was also seen on the previous model. The camera module is expected to a feature 12MP primary sensor and 20MP secondary shooter with some AI enhancements such as screen recognition modes and more. Moreover, the smartphone could sport a 6-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 of aspect ratio and 1080×2160p of resolution. The smartphone is also expected to carry a 3010mAh battery of backup along with connectivity options such as dual SIM card slots, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options. The dual-SIM device is speculated to run Android 8.1 Oreo with Android One program, giving a stock android experience likewise the predecessor. Currently, there is no official statement from the company regarding the launch details in India as well as pricing.
