Xiaomi’s POCO F1 smartphone will be launched in India on August 22. The #MasterOfSpeed device will be unveiled tomorrow at an event held in New Delhi, which will start by 12.30 pm and will be streamed live on POCO India’s official YouTube channel. Only 18 hours left, POCO India has made the internet go wild with its #POCOPOCOPOCO challenge, which is less harmful than the infamous #KikiChallenge. The challenge has a simple rule, where the users have to say POCO three times as fast as possible and submit it with the hashtag. Quoted as ‘As Fast As You’, the smartphone is confirmed to have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM. Aimed at three kinds of users -- gamers, photographers and multitaskers -- the POCO F1 smartphone is promising its users to perform the best in these categories. The new smartphone will also feature a liquid cooling technology for added smooth performance; face-unlock options, which is adaptable even in low-light conditions; and sports dual AI cameras.

Last week, there were reports of leaked renders and unboxing videos, which revealed a few specifications of the upcoming smartphone. The device may sport a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with a notch at the top. Whereas on the camera side, the phone could feature a dual camera setup of 12MP + 5MP sensors at the rear and the front of the device, it may feature a 20MP selfie shooter. Also, the smartphone may carry a massive 4,000 mAh battery that supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 with USB Type-C port. Whereas for the price and competition, the phone could be priced around Rs 34,000, since it seems to share similar specs to the OnePlus 6 smartphone.
