Purpose

The TruLY Score by LatestLY is a credibility rating system designed to help readers quickly assess the trustworthiness of news articles and viral claims. Using a 0–5 Trust Scale, each article is evaluated based on source verification, cross-checking, and reliability.

Our goal is to make news consumption transparent, empowering readers to distinguish trustworthy content from unverified or misleading information.

  4. Scoring
    • Assign a TruLY Score from 1 to 5 based on evidence quality and verification.
  5. Review & Transparency
    • Each rating includes a brief explanation and citation of sources used.
    • Updates are issued if new, verified information emerges.
