Bulandshahr, March 19: In a disturbing case from Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr, a daily wage labourer chose to end his seven-year marriage after his wife allegedly threatened to kill him and dispose of his body in a “Blue Drum” filled with cement. The chilling threat reportedly referenced the infamous Meerut murder case from last year.

Rajkumar, a resident of Daulatpur village, claimed his wife had developed a relationship with a man she met on social media. Over time, their connection grew stronger, with frequent phone calls and alleged secret meetings. “She left in July saying she was going to her parents’ house, but she was living with him,” he said. Blue Drum Horror in Lucknow: ‘Pressurised’ To Crack NEET, Son Shoots Father Dead in Front of Sister, Stuffs Chopped Body Parts in Drum.

The situation escalated when Rajkumar accessed his wife’s phone during a call and found objectionable photos along with a Facebook post mentioning “cement and blue drum.” When confronted, she allegedly refused to end the relationship and issued threats. “She would constantly ask me for evidence,” he added. ‘Will Be Useful Later’: Friends Give Blue Drum As Wedding Gift to Bride and Groom in Uttar Pradesh’s Hamirpur, Video Goes Viral.

Fearing for his life, Rajkumar approached the police. The case was referred to the Women’s Mediation Cell, where both families and the boyfriend were present. During counselling, his wife clearly stated she wanted to live with her boyfriend.

Following this, Rajkumar and his family agreed to let her go. “I made this decision to protect my life,” he said, adding that she had stopped taking care of household responsibilities and their six-month-old child.

Police confirmed that efforts were made to resolve the matter through counselling. However, no official statement has been issued yet regarding any criminal charges.
